With an understanding of and experience in state government dating back 25 years, Colleen Castille's unique environmental perspective is unmatched. Colleen served as Secretary for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (2004-2007) and the Florida Department of Community Affairs (2003-2004), reporting to and advising the Governor while overseeing a state workforce of more than 5,000. She led the team responsible for the 2006 Florida Energy Act and was instrumental in strengthening Florida's building code to help resist hurricane force winds across the state. |

As a seventh-generation Floridian, Allison DeFoor's love of the state and its environment is evident in all he does. Currently the State Coordinator for EarthBalance(R), a statewide environmental restoration firm, his conservation work is but one aspect of his groundbreaking career. Often described as a "Renaissance" man, his career spans the political and business spectrum. As Gov. Jeb Bush's "Everglades Czar," he organized and began moving the largest land restoration project in world history. He has served as president of the Florida Keys Land and Sea Trust and the Florida Land Trust Association. An active businessman, he currently serves as a governor of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and on the boards of directors of Florida Tax Watch and Associated Industries of Florida. Dr. DeFoor is a published author (11 books) and long-time college lecturer at the University of Miami law School, Florida A&M, Yale and Penn State University. |
